Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. These terms describe how Klubi actually works today, but they must be reviewed by a qualified professional before launch, and the placeholders marked […] filled in. The liability and governing-law sections in particular should not be shipped as written.
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME](“Klubi”, “we”). By creating an account or using Klubi you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Who can use Klubi
You need to be at least 18 years old and enrolled at a post-secondary institution. Klubi is not intended for children, does not knowingly collect their information, and the signup form does not offer a high-school option. You must give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting it you give us permission to store, display and distribute it within Klubi so the service can work — showing your post in a feed, your application to a club's leadership, your message to its recipient. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we're required to keep something (for example, a copy attached to an abuse report).
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Klubi to:
- Harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit.
- Post someone else's private information without their consent.
- Spam, scam, or advertise things unrelated to student life.
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, or to circumvent rate limits, permissions or other security controls.
- Scrape or bulk-collect other people's data.
- Create accounts automatically, or run multiple accounts to evade a ban.
Clubs and roles
A club's Founder, President and Co-Presidents can manage their club's membership, content and settings. Those powers are limited to their own club. Club leaders are responsible for how they handle applicants' information — including résumés and application answers — and must not use it for anything other than deciding on the application.
We are not the organiser of any club, event or opportunity listed on Klubi and are not responsible for what clubs do offline.
Moderation
You can report content or accounts from within the app. We may remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts, that break these terms. Where we can, we'll tell you why. Serious or repeated breaches may result in immediate removal without notice.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings; the effect on your data is described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop operating the service.
Service availability
Klubi is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
Liability
Placeholder — must be drafted by a lawyer. The limitation of liability and indemnity clauses depend on your jurisdiction and entity structure, and a copied clause is as likely to be unenforceable as it is to protect you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION].
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Klubi after a change means you accept it.
